POS System Guide (“we”, “us”) is an independent website based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It compares point-of-sale (POS) systems, payment options and hardware.

Everything on this site is general information to help you research. It is not financial, legal, tax or other professional advice, and it does not take your business’s situation into account. Our ratings are our editorial opinion. Please get advice that fits your circumstances before making a big decision.

POS providers change their prices, plans, card fees, features and integrations often. We check our pages regularly and show when they were last checked, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete, accurate or current when you read it. Always confirm prices, fees, contract terms and compatibility directly with the provider before you buy or sign anything.

Results from our free tools, such as the true cost calculator, are estimates based on the numbers you enter and published pricing. They are not quotes.

We link to POS providers and other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, services, prices or privacy practices. Any purchase or agreement you make is between you and that provider, on their terms. Some links are affiliate links. Our affiliate disclosure explains how they work.

The site is provided free and “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties about the site or its content, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything in it. This includes indirect loss, such as lost profits or lost business.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 in New Zealand, the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The text, ratings, tools, design and logo on this site belong to POS System Guide. You are welcome to read, share links to and quote short parts of our pages with a link back. Please do not copy or republish whole pages or our data without permission.

Product names, brand names and logos belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the products we write about. Their use does not mean we are affiliated with, or endorsed by, those companies.
